A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute please of being invited to photograph Carl and Roxanne’s small covid friendly ceremony at the Georgian Townhouse in Norwich. The couple had already postponed the wedding to next year but still felt that they wanted to proceed with the legalities and become man and wife. Roxanne’s, amazing, sister Gemma had arranged the photography as a gift and complete surprise for the couple.
This was my first time working at The Georgian Townhouse one of Norfolk’s little Gems. I was so surprised at how many lovely areas there were to photograph. Such a great venue especially for a smaller ceremony. The marriage room is so pretty and the private walled garden was perfect for the day.
Although only a few guests the day was just as special and intimate, even masks didn’t spoil the occasion.
After the lovely ceremony (I have to mention the registrars and Townhouse staff were brilliant) the couple and close family had drinks in the walled garden. Thankfully the weather was brilliant too. Carl and Roxanne never stopped smiling and it was very obvious how happy they are. I cannot wait for their blessing and party next year, I already know it’s going to be nonstop laughter.
Thank you guys for allowing be to be part of a very intimate and special day.
